AN ON-GOING PROGRAM

An ongoing program
The new Advanced Zen Coaching Training is an ongoing program that includes one live
workshop of seven days each spring, with an In-between program of practice, integration
and deepening between the modules.
You can join single modules, but the basic idea of the program is to function as an ongoing
journey of deepening, healing, growth and expansion, where each step builds on the
previous ones.
For full benefit you are therefore encouraged to participate as an on-going participant. The
cost per module is also less if you are committed as an ongoing participant. As an ongoing
participant you commit to attend at least three modules in a row; after that you can drop
out when you want.
Senior Coach Certification
If you wish, you can also engage in the Senior Coach Certification Process, which includes a
lot of personal practice and study. See separate information about this process.
You do not need to have completed Coach Certification to enrol in the Advanced Training.
You can do the program purely for the sake of your own personal growth, or also for
deepening your skills as a coach and facilitator. The program will include a focus on both of
these aspects.
The New Zen Coaching Teacher Training from 2025
From 2025 we will also start a new Zen Coaching Teacher Training. This program will build on the Advanced Training which will be a required part of the Teacher Training and add further online workshops, reading requirements, extensive practice and supervision coaching. More information will be provided later about this program.
The In-between Program of Integration and Deepening
This is an optional but highly recommended program after you have completed a module,
during the year before the next module. During this time you will continue to integrate and
deepen the insights and development that took place during the module. You can
participate for one year also if you are not committed to the full On-going Advanced
Training.
The content of the In-between program is:
- 1.5 hours weekly practice in small groups with other participants in the program,
online or live when possible. Commitment to take part in at least two meetings per
month.
- Five two and a half hour webinars with inquiries and supervision coaching every
second month (two of them by Kåre, three by other Coach Team members)
- Two full-day online webinars on weekends (6 hours), one of them by Kåre and the
other by other Coach Team members.
- Regular inspirational reminders and optional practice suggestions from Kåre and
other Coach Team members, with theory, tools, inquiry questions and links to good
resources.

FROM HOLES TO WHOLENESS: AWAKENING AND SELF-REALISATION
The alchemy of the heart, and the shift of identity from ego to essence
A deepening into the key understanding, awareness and tools required to awaken more fully
to our spiritual, essential nature.
Specific topics:
- Clarity and clear discrimination
- Awakening, self-realisation and self-actualisation
- Inner space, inner freedom
- A deeper understanding of the distinction between Essence and Personality
- Our true priorities in life and the power of context and community
- Liberating the strength and courage to be authentic and follow our heart
- Not-knowing, non-attachment and inquiry as a way of life
- Facing our patterns of avoidance, addiction, collapse, pushing, compromise etc
- Facing our holes and exploring the Alchemy of the Heart
- The Essential Self (the Pearl, the true person of Being) and the Essential Identity (the
Point of Existence)
Coaching tools:
During this week, we will focus especially on two powerful coaching and awareness tools: 1)
The Empty Chair method from Gestalt therapy, and 2) Working with sub-personalities
through the Voice dialogue (Hal and Sidra Stone) and Internal Family Systems approaches
(Richard C. Schwartz).

COST FOR THE ADVANCED TRAINING
Course fee for a single module:
8700 NOK; or 5900 NOK if you live outside Scandinavia (= Norway, Sweden, Denmark &
Finland)
Course fee per module as on on-going participant (all 3 modules from 2024-2026):
6900 NOK; or 4900 NOK if you live outside Scandinavia.
A non-refundable commitment fee of 3000 NOK applies when you sign up as on-going
participant, which is deducted from the third module. If you drop out before completing the
three modules this sum will not be refunded. If you miss one or more or the three modules
you still have to pay the course fee, but not room and board, and you will receive the
recordings.
