An ongoing program
The Advanced Zen Coaching Training is an ongoing program that includes one live
workshop of seven days each spring, with an In-between program of practice, integration
and deepening between the modules (optional, see below for costs).
You can join single modules, but the basic idea of the program is to function as an ongoing
journey of deepening, healing, growth and expansion, where each step builds on the
previous ones.
For full benefit you are therefore encouraged to participate as an on-going participant. The
cost per module is also less if you are committed as an ongoing participant. As an ongoing
participant you commit to attend at least three modules in a row; after that you can drop
out when you want.
Advanced Training 2026
What does it mean and what does it take to live without compromise, deeply self-connected and embodied, and aligned with a clearly sensed purpose in life?
In this retreat, we will explore this question as it applies to your own life, and in your support of clients or workshops participants if you are actively supporting others with coaching or with workshops.
In the Coaching ‘U’, this topic applies especially to the action phase of coaching. After we (or our client) have resolved inner conflicts and obstacles and landed in ourselves and an inner sense of presence, peace and clarity, the next questions are: How can I live and express these qualities in my daily life? How can I remember and live the Living Presence that I know myself to be, in daily life? How can I be creative in dealing with my challenges and opportunities in life? How can I contribute to my surroundings and the world in a satisfying and meaningful way?
This topic can also be described with headlines such as integration of insights into daily living, embodiment of realization, compassion and the bodhisattva path, and the path of descent (into the ordinary world, from the spiritual ‘heights’ of transcendence – the path of ascent).
From a spiritual perspective, our primary task, opportunity and joy in life is to grow, spiritually and psychologically. This includes as an essential component the fulfilment of self-realization: to realize and come home to who we are as presence, as essence, and to heal and release the obstacles that keep us stuck in more superficial, conflictual and painful self-identifications. Growing in this sense is not a one-time achievement, but a gradual evolution that includes setbacks as well as occasional sudden big leaps.
Our second and related task, opportunity and joy is to discover, live and embody the fulfilment we can experience through contributing to our surroundings with who we are, and with our unique gifts and talents, with our unique song in the world. This is self-actualization, bringing all our insights and inner evolution into life in daily living, working and relating, fully acting in the world as the living presence that I am.
In my perspective, these two aspects of inner fulfilment, growth and contribution, or self-realization and self-actualization, are inter-related.
COST FOR THE ADVANCED TRAINING
Course fee for a single module:
8 700 NOK; or 5 900 NOK if you live outside Scandinavia (= Norway, Sweden, Denmark &
Finland)
Course fee per module as on on-going participant (all 3 modules):
6 900 NOK; or 4 900 NOK if you live outside Scandinavia.
participant, which is deducted from the third module. If you drop out before completing the
three modules this sum will not be refunded. If you miss one or more or (FEL) the three modules
you still have to pay the course fee, but not room and board, and you will receive the
recordings.
Cost for room and board in SEK, we expect a small raise in prices for 2026:
Single room 7 630 SEK
Double room (Twin beds) 6 440 SEK
4-6 beds room (Bunk beds) 5 390 SEK
External accommodation 4 340 SEK
The Advanced Training In-between Program of Integration and Deepening
This is an optional but highly recommended program after you have completed a module,
during the year before the next module. During this time you will continue to integrate and
deepen the insights and development that took place during the module. You can
participate for one year also if you are not committed to the full On-going Advanced
Training.
April 2025 – April 2026
To join the program you need to either have taken part in the Advanced Training 2025,
or have signed up for the Advanced Training 2026.

Senior Coach Certification
If you wish, you can also engage in the Senior Coach Certification Process, which includes a
lot of personal practice and study. See separate information about this process.
You do not need to have completed Coach Certification to enrol in the Advanced Training.
You can do the program purely for the sake of your own personal growth, or also for
deepening your skills as a coach and facilitator. The program will include a focus on both of
these aspects.
